Vancouver Game Expo started with a simple belief: gaming is for everyone. Our founding organization set out to create an event that felt as welcoming to a first-time attendee as it did to a lifelong gamer, a space where curiosity, creativity, and community come first.
What began as a grassroots gathering has grown into an annual celebration connecting indie game developers, nerdy vendors, tabletop creators, cosplay artists, and thousands of fans across Vancouver.
We are entirely volunteer-run. Every coordinator, every volunteer, every organizer shows up because they love this community. That spirit shows in everything we do.
Our volunteer coordinator team makes Vancouver Game Expo happen every year. We're passionate gamers, organizers, and community builders.
Vancouver Game Expo takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
